Moose-aic in the city represents Toronto's multi-cultural communities. With outstretched arms -- in a symbolic shape of a heart -- a half-torn package reveals how diverse cultures can live together in harmony.

Materials used are latex, acrylics, eggshells, Plaster of paris, mache & gold foil.

Mambo is now on display in the toronto.com offices @ 80 Peter St.

Watch out for Moose in the City, an extraordinary outdoor art event run by the City of Toronto. This summer we will see herds of majestic life-size fiberglass moose take to the streets in new outdoor art event.

Selected Toronto artists' whimsical creations will be displayed in prominent locations throughout the city. Each moose will be sponsored by a patron and will have their name, together with the artists on a plaque at the base of the moose.

toronto.com is proud to sponsor "Moose-aic in the city" by artist Karen Ahmed who also works for toronto.com as our Features Producer.

This feature documents the work in progress from the arrival, rendering to the farewell party!
